A list of over 20 PC races from the Forgotten Realms campaign... Each Race has its own Web Page, check with Game Master as some races are not suitable for particular gaming groups or campaigns...but I am very flexible which is why there are well over 100 PC races and subraces to choose from.

Animals as Intelligent PC Races - General Notes
In the Adarian Campaign, there are a number of enhanced (or intelligent) animals - that is, otherwise-normal animals with the intelligence of humans.

Animal-Intelligent, Bear
Bears are friendly, level headed, clever and very tough. Rough and tough they make excellent melee fighters.

Animal-Intelligent, Cat
While Cats are poor in melee, they make great spies, scouts and thieves, and a talking, magic-using cat would be extremely easy to design.

Animal-Intelligent, Leopard
These are large predator cats. An intelligent Leopard is an almost perfect hunter, and would make a devastating addition to an adventuring party.

Animal-Intelligent, Stag
These huge and shy beasts aren't really suited for PC use, but as an NPC Ally/mount for say an Elf character, they could be very useful...

Animal-Intelligent, Wolf
